Bill Reed and Lydia Lundberg developed, designed, own, and run Oatfield Estates, an award-winning “Alternative to Assisted Living” in Portland, Oregon. Bill and Lydia started Elite Care Technologies with a vision for how technology could be used to improve the quality of life for seniors. Oatfield Estates serves as Elite Care Technologies “living laboratory” where best practices and technology have been tested and perfected.

Elite Care Technologies are designed to be unobtrusive, elder-friendly, real-time, and have easy, low-cost integration. ECT provides a platform that integrates multiple streams of data, tailors information to a variety of audiences, supports proactive preventative care based on data trends and patterns, and provides easy and secure access to data from anywhere. We are always looking for emerging and innovative technologies and always improving.

Bill and Lydia are the recipients of the Computerworld/Smithsonian 21st Century Achievement Award for their technological innovations in assisted living. Elite Care Technologies at Oatfield Estates was featured in AARP’s February 2006 bulletin as one of “10 Great Ideas in Assisted Living”.
